The oldest building in Martin is Romanesque church dedicated to St. Martin de Tours. It comes from the half of 13. century. Church is a part of the third stage pedestrian zone re-building, which will be realized during close future. Historical building of theatre comes from the beginning of 20-th century. Several years ago there was built also modern studio nearby.
There is open air museum, named Museum of the Slovak Village, which documents the way of life of our great grand-parents two hundred years ago. There are several manor and castle ruins in the surrounding of Martin, where you really can see a ghost...
