Printers Neografia inc. export their products especially into Germany, Great Britain, the Netherlands.  During 1996-99  they got a price "The best exporter of Slovakia"

Brewery in Martin was established by  Jozef Capko in 1893. During the time the trademark got changed for several times. Now the products are known as "Martiner". The brewery production was  closed due to regress of bier market in the beginning of November 2003. 

Danish company ECCO Slovakia brought into the region shoe industry. They employ  thousand people.

German car company Volkswagen came here in 1999. It employs about 500 people. Both of the companies are part of our industrial park.

There is Japanese and American capital stock in Trim Leader. Company, which offers  job to 850 people makes seat covers for Toyota, Fiat and Renault.

Martin - Flemish Entreneurial and Incubator Centre was established as a result of cooperation between Belgium and the city. It became the seat of several small foreign companies.
